Reina is a licensed attorney and an entrepreneur. She runs a boutique law firm in Makati City, the central business district of the Philippines. Her office, Reina Mesa Law provides end-to-end business solution to companies and individuals seeking to establish and expand their operations in the country. Her firm provides reliable cross-border professional business registration and post-registration legal services. Her team has facilitated the licensing of several micro-small, medium, and large enterprises across different industries ranging from IT, business process outsourcing, back-office support, logistics, lending, retail, training facilities, recruitment agencies to travel and tourism
Aside from specializing on corporate and business law, Reina Mesa Law also focuses on property acquisition and divestment and assisted clients in real estate transactions. Additionally, the firm has also handled family law cases such as annulment of marriage, recognition of foreign divorce, adoption, guardianship, and support.
Before Reina started her own law firm, she worked as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of the Philippines where she gained in-depth insights on different facets of commercial, property and family laws. She is a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing for 11+ years. Since 2017, she has been serving as volunteer attorney at the Ateneo Legal Services Center, a public interest center that provides free legal services for the poor and the disadvantaged.
A lifelong learner, Reina is currently part of the Executive MBA Program of the Asian Institute of Management. She finished her Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from University of the Philippines in the Visayas.
Reina hails from a small coastal town at northernmost part of Negros Island called Sagay where she was born, as the youngest of four children, into a farming family. She plays volleyball and enjoys cross country cycling during her free time.
